GarIU Indigenous Youth Development Workshops

In his well received presentation, Mr Nunez engaged the students in a high level discussion on resilience in the face of adversities. When asked what resonated with them, Independence High school student Latisha Ramirez said that she was moved by Mr. Nunez saying that he is blind but he has vision. She supported her point by adding that my people can see but have no vision. She then urged those who are not blind to also have a vision about what they wish to accomplish in the future.Â
