Objectives:

This is an introductory course to reading, writing, speaking and singing in the Garifuna Language. Students will engage in basic conversations in Garifuna, such as Salutations/greetings and counting from 1-100. Students will master the pronunciation of the Garifuna words by repeating each syllable, and will be reiterated by singing the Garifuna lyrics to commit them to memory.
